The game is 1-8 players, and adjusts its difficulty according to the number currently in the game. For the most part, its quick to rack up kills and unlock new choices. At the end of the games you play, you can save your kill count (auto creates a text file) to unlock new abilities for your hero, though im very adamant on these unlocks not creating a play to win game, rather just opening new doors. More infected attack each day as the game progresses. You must survive 10 days, where on the final day all living infected will attack. There are 4 races available to play (Human, Orc, Gnoll and Ancients), each have their own strengths, weaknesses and quirky management styles.
